Kyle Outlaw is owner and operator at Subatomik LLC. His career is defined by high-level strategic vision and hands-on creative and technical execution, having led user experience initiatives for global giants including Mercedes-Benz, Google, Nike, Microsoft, and Ralph Lauren across automotive, fashion, fintech, and technology sectors. Currently, Kyle leads Subatomik, a decentralized, open-source commerce platform launched in September 2024. Previously, he was SVP and Executive Experience Director at Publicis Digital Experiences Group, where he led user experience strategies for Mercedes-Benz in the US and Canada and achieved the #1 ranking in J.D. Power’s Manufacturer’s Website Evaluation Study for the first time in the brand’s history. His work earned his team a Level 4/5 ranking in InVision’s Design Maturity Report. Earlier tenures at R/GA and Razorfish saw him lead UX/UI redesigns for Converse and Nike. His work has been honored with numerous accolades, including Webby Awards, Clio Gold medals, and the Mobile Marketer of the Year award.
Kyle holds a Master’s degree from NYU’s Interactive Telecommunication Program (ITP), where he focused on mobile ubiquitous computing, virtual reality, and media theory. He has been a speaker and conducted workshops at major industry events like SXSW and IXDA, and the Internet Freedom Festival.
